- Early Morning Departure: Start your journey from Marrakech, heading through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass (2,260m). Enjoy panoramic views of the mountains, valleys, and Berber villages.
- Kasbah Stops: Visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a 16th-century kasbah famous for its preservation and use in Hollywood films.
- Draa Valley: Continue through the Draa River valley, known for its palm groves, and reach Zagora, the date capital.
- Arrival in M’Hamid: Arrive at the gateway to the Sahara. Dinner and overnight stay in a nomadic-style camp.
- Start the Adventure: Embark on your first day’s trek from our Oasis Camp into the Sahara.
- Desert Trek: Cross the dunes and desert plateaus towards Sidi Naji, an area rich in history.
- Camp: Set up camp in the heart of the Erg (dunes), surrounded by the vast Sahara.
- Journey to Erg Ezzahar: Trek across a long desert plateau towards the stunning Erg Ezzahar dunes, known for their unique “howling” sands.
- Sahara Views: Enjoy panoramic views of the dry Drâa River and expansive dunes.
- Overnight: Camp in the middle of the dunes or enjoy a night under the stars, immersed in the quiet desert.
- Trekking to Erg Smar: Continue the camel trek towards the towering dunes of Erg Smar.
- Sunset & Dinner: Watch a breathtaking desert sunset from the top of the dunes, followed by a traditional tajine dinner.
- Night in the Desert: Experience the intense beauty and serenity of the desert under a star-filled sky.
- To the Highest Dunes: Trek to the famous Erg Chegaga dunes, the tallest in Morocco.
- Nomadic Atmosphere: Experience the simplicity and camaraderie of nomadic life.
- Camp in the Dunes: Set up camp in the great dunes of Erg Chegaga, enjoying the vastness and tranquility of the desert.
- 8:00 AM - Departure: After breakfast, we begin our journey off-road towards Lake Iriki, a dried-up lakebed, following the historic Paris-Dakar rally route.
- Foum Zguid Stop: After 3 hours of off-roading, we reach Foum Zguid for refreshments.
- Taznakht Village: We stop in Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets, where we enjoy lunch.
- Arrival in Marrakech: We arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon.
